Why Rewild?
We don’t experience wellbeing alone. We are shaped by our relationships with each other, our communities, and the natural world around us. Rewilding ourselves is about remembering our connection to nature and to our place within the living world. For organizations, this offers a more expansive way to think about wellbeing; one that supports people, strengthens relationships, and reconnects us with the places and ecosystems that sustain us.
It’s time to shift from simply feeling better to creating the conditions for people, organizations, and the living world to flourish. What kind of environment are you creating for people to live, work, connect, and thrive together?
Whether your organization is looking to strengthen engagement, inspire fresh thinking, prevent burnout, or deepen connection to your mission, Nature in Kind offers a meaningful way forward.
“Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life.”
Rachel Carson

Mindfulness can cultivate presence, awareness, and the capacity to respond rather than react. When practiced collectively, it can also create moments of pause, reflection, and shared attention within the working day.
Nature offers a powerful dimension. Time spent outdoors, walking together, tending to something living, or simply noticing the natural world can create space for restoration while strengthening connection between people and place.
Community Wellbeing Needs Our Attention
The U.S. Surgeon General, the World Health Organization, Gallup World Happiness Report, and other national and international reports all tell us what many of us experience every day: people are struggling to feel positive and connected in their workplace as well as in other areas of their lives.
Heavy workloads, job uncertainty, and constant demands make it easy for people and organizations to lose perspective and disconnect from one another and from their purpose.
We also know that technological complexity isn't going away. The organizations that thrive won't be the ones who out-optimize their competitors, - they'll be the ones whose teams can face uncertainty together, curious, calm, and connected.
It’s easy to forget that we humans evolved to solve problems together, in each other’s physical presence, attuned to each other and to our environment. It’s no surprise that studies on and measures of happiness repeatedly include the importance of feeling connected to other living things.
It’s vital to remember: the “being” in wellbeing is collective as well as individual.
Wellbeing about how each of us is doing, and how we are together as a community of colleagues within our living world.
Our wellbeing is deeply shaped by the environments we inhabit, the relationships we build, and the communities we belong to.
This is especially true at work. Organizations are not just places where people perform tasks - they are social environments that can either support or undermine health, connection, meaning, and belonging.
